Who is behind TriagePass, and how we approach exam preparation

We write exam-specific practice for doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, dentists and physiotherapists. We are independent, and we say plainly how our material is made.

TriagePass prepares healthcare professionals for licensing exams. It is independent of every regulator and exam board. Questions are written to each exam's blueprint, checked against current national guidelines and reviewed by clinicians.

Why we built it

A licensing exam decides whether you can practise. For many internationally trained clinicians it also decides whether a move abroad goes ahead. Yet preparation material is often thin or out of date: question banks written for a different country's guidelines, recalls of unknown accuracy, or a single national exam treated as if it applied everywhere.

TriagePass starts from the exam instead. We read the regulator's published outline, work out what is tested and at what depth, and write questions to that outline using the guidelines your exam actually expects. A candidate preparing for the NMC Test of Competence should be practising UK guidance, and a candidate preparing for NCLEX-RN should be practising US nursing practice.

What we believe

  • The exam is the specification. Our banks follow the published blueprint, not our opinion of what matters.
  • Explanations matter more than scores. A wrong answer should teach you the reasoning and name the source.
  • Say what is known and what is not. Where we cannot verify an exam detail, the page says so.
  • Pay for what you use. One exam, a fixed length, no auto-renewal.

Who we cover

Six professions: doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, dentists and physiotherapists. We aim to cover the exams that matter in each major destination and home market, in the local language and in English. Each country has its own hub with the exams, regulators and routes in one place.

How we work

Questions are edited by people, checked against guidelines and reviewed by clinicians. The editorial policy sets out the whole process, including how drafts are produced, and the question-writing standards describe what a good question looks like to us.

What we are not

TriagePass is not a regulator, exam board, university or recruiter. We are not endorsed by any of them. We do not offer immigration or legal advice, and we do not assess whether you are eligible to register. For that, always go to the regulator.
